This is a step-by-step guide on how to install the Chrome browser extension for Via.


Note: Chrome browser extension only works on a desktop or laptop computer so please ensure you're logged in on such a device. The extension will not work on a tablet or mobile phone.

  1. Open up Google Chrome on your desktop or laptop computer
  2. Login to Via account on Chrome browser by navigating to https://joinvia.app 
  3. You will see a popup confirming that you want to install the extension so you can read the information and select the Connect button
  4. The Chrome extension page for the Via Extension will open up , click Add to Chrome button
  5.  Click Add extension option

  6. The extension will automatically be included on your browsers’ list of extensions

  7. You're done!

    Note: If the V icon on the browser bar shows up in Grey instead of pink, simply click on the icon and login to the Via site manually.
