This is a step-by-step guide on how to install the Edge browser extension for Via.


Note: Microsoft Edge browser extension only works on a desktop or laptop computer so please ensure you're logged in on such a device. The extension will not work on a tablet or mobile phone.

  1. Open up Microsoft Edge on your desktop or laptop computer
  2. Login to Via account on the Edge browser by navigating to https://joinvia.app
  3. You will see a popup confirming that you want to install the extension so you can read the information and select the Connect button.
  4. The Edge extension page for the Via Extension will open up. Select Get button on the right hand side
  5. Select Add Extension on the popup message to install the extension.

  6. You're done! Once installed the Via icon will show up on the top right corner in pink  and will show your status as CONNECTED

  7. Note: If the V icon on the browser bar shows up in Grey instead of pink, simply click on the icon and login to the Via site manually.
